Top 10 Items to Buy from Target Dollar Spot for Teachers
It’s August which means it’s all about back to school! One of my favorite traditions for back to school shopping is TARGET, specifically the Target Dollar Spot. Here are some of the items I always stock up on:
1. BINS, BINS, AND MORE BINS:
Target has the BEST bins! For only $3 a bin you can’t beat the price.
They are durable, colorful, and come in a variety of different sizes.
Usage: perfect for storing books, legos, math manipulatives, books, crayons, markers, etc.
2. Pointers:
Target has the cutest pointers in a variety of different designs- today I even found one with a pizza on it!
Usage: Perfect accessory for the class helper during morning routines.
3. Trays
I have about 10 of these and at only $3 each, you can’t beat the price!
Usage: Great for play-doh, shaving cream, painting, crafts, directed drawings, water paints- the possibilities are endless!
4. Blank Books
With 16 plank pages each, these books come in a pack of 8- for only $3!
Usage: Great for creating books the kids can give as gifts to their family members (Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, etc)
5. Adhesive label pockets:
They have two sizes:
-rectangle size which comes in a pack of 15 for $3
- square size which comes in a pack of 20 for $3.
Usage: classroom library organization, organization, place on student’s desks for name tags
6. Mini Erasers
Mini erasers are a must they have so many cute erasers all for $1 from robots to mermaids, to pencils, etc.

7. Name tags:
$1 for a set of 30.
usage: Great on student’s desks, fits nicely in the rectangle adhesive labels
8. BORDERS:
Target has the cutest borders for $1! This year the borders are even reversible!
usage: Looks great on every classroom bulletin board!
9. Bookmarks:
Happy Birthday bookmarks: 30 bookmarks for $1.
usage:great birthday gift, encourage reading to young students!
10. Stickers
Target has the cutest stickers for back to school for $1! Students will love to receive stickers from you!
Usage: homework check, rewards, and behavior charts
